“The passing of the Government’s income tax cuts by the House of Representatives will be welcomed by Master Builders 32,000 members around the country,” Denita Wawn, CEO of Master Builders Australia said.
“They strongly support this measure as a key ingredient in the recipe for economic growth along with company tax cuts, fast tracking construction of infrastructure projects and backing small business by cutting red tape and investing in skills,” she said.
“Income tax cuts reward our members’ hard work and provide an incentive for their aspirations to build more business success, and as the Reserve Bank Governor has noted, putting more money in people’s pockets will grow household incomes and support household spending,” Denita Wawn said.
“In every city town and region builders and tradies will now be looking to the Senate to pass the pass the tax cuts in full and without delay,” Denita Wawn said.
