Master Builders Australia is proud to host the 2024 National Business Excellence Awards this evening at Metropolis Events in Melbourne.

This year marks the fifth year of the National Business Excellence awards, established to recognise and celebrate noteworthy organisations and their achievements in financial management, operations, customer service, business improvement and corporate responsibility within the building and construction industry.

These awards are the only industry program to recognise business excellence, and highlight businesses of all sizes across all three sectors of the building and construction industry: residential, commercial and civil construction.

Master Builders Australia’s Chief Executive Officer, Denita Wawn, said the awards were an opportunity to showcase the incredible work happening within the industry.

“Too often, we hear about the negatives of business practices in our industry, whether it is insolvencies or non-compliant building, but we all know that these stories relate to a small component of the sector.

“The vast majority of business operators in our industry are striving to keep afloat during tough times and are still focused on pursuing sustainable and viable business practices for the future of their business, their employees, sub-contractors, and clients.

“Master Builders Australia is excited to host these awards and recognise the hard work and dedication of business owners across the country.

“We are committed to promoting best practices and this is a great occasion to highlight some of the incredible work that takes place everyday in building and construction.

“These awards are not only about recognising the work that’s been done, but about inspiring the work that is going to happen and promoting a culture of excellence throughout the industry.”

Nominations for the fifth year of the awards opened in June, and saw a large number of entries from right across Australia. Following an extensive and meticulous judging process, Master Builders Australia is proud to announce eight winners from small, medium and large business across the residential, commercial and civil construction sectors.
