Brian Seidler AM
The Brian Seidler AM Memorial Scholarship is open to applications from eligible apprentices, women or Indigenous Australians currently working in the Australian building and construction industry.
This scholarship is named after Brian Seilder AM, who was employed by the Master Builders Association of NSW for over 40 years and held the role of Executive Director for 25 years. He passed in March 2025 while still in the role.
Brian was a champion of supporting those who faced challenges in the building and construction industry, with a particular passion to foster the careers of apprentices, women, and indigenous people, along with combating mental health.
Brian was truly dedicated to the industry and the ongoing uplift of the industry. His energy, tenacity, and high values are all attributes that made him an outstanding leader in the building and construction industry.
Brian also championed the Master Builders Federation. While very focused on what was important to NSW, he also recognised the critical importance of all of the Master Builders organisations around the country working together under the banner of Master Builders Australia on national issues.
The Brian Seidler Scholarship seeks to recognise those who Brian strongly supported, who also display his drive and vision for the industry at a national level.
