Submission regarding the Fair Work Amendment (Right to Work from Home) Bill 2025

On 27 November 2025, the Fair Work Amendment (Right to Work from Home) Bill 2025 was referred to the Senate Standing Committee on Education and Employment for inquiry and report.

The Bill proposes to completely rewrite the current arrangements regarding requests for flexible work arrangements.

Master Builders support flexibility in the workplace and, is of the view that, the current arrangements are adequate and appropriate and recommends that the Committee does not support the Bill.
