New appointments to the boards of the National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation (NYFIC) and the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI) will help lead positive housing policy outcomes.
Kelvin Ryan has been appointed to the board of NYFIC. Kelvin has spent more than a decade at the forefront of the country’s residential building industry as CEO of major home builders Simonds Homes and BGC Residential.
Alex Waldren has been appointed to the board of AHURI. Alex is the Chair of Liveable Housing Australia, on the board of the Australian Brick and Blocklaying Training Foundation and is Master Builders Australia’s National Director of Industry Policy. She has more than 20 years’ of experience as a government public policy adviser with expertise in housing, transport infrastructure, aged care and regional development policy.
