Robert Shaw

National President Robert Shaw is an accomplished business leader and board director with more than 40 years in the building and construction industry, serving as Founding Director of five successful enterprises across construction, timber, manufacturing, and property development.

Rob is a former President of Master Builders WA with deep expertise in corporate governance, compliance, and industry advocacy. He’s experienced in chairing national councils and committees, including the National Economic & Productivity Council and the MBA Non-Compliance Product Committee, providing strong oversight on regulatory and industry matters.

Recognised for strengthening governance frameworks, mentoring emerging leaders, and driving strategic growth across both industry and community organisations., Rob is a trusted advisor with extensive experience managing multi-stakeholder relationships and delivering outcomes that shape long-term industry sustainability.

He was elected President of the Master Builders Australia National Board on November 27 2025.
