The Albanese Government’s third budget has provided some positive outcomes for the building and construction industry; however, Master Builders remains concerned as to many missing pieces of the puzzle for the industry and more broadly as to the fragility of the economy and whether the largesse of Government spending will only compound that fragility.

An election must be called no later than 12 months from now, so Master Builders Australia will be putting the major parties on notice that they both must produce a plan to ensure that all policy levers are being pushed in the same direction to ensure we have a strong building and construction industry.  We all know that if you have a strong building and construction industry, you have a stronger economy.
