Simon Butt

Simon is the National President of Master Builders Australia. He joined the National Board in 2012 and has previously served as the organisation's Treasurer and Chair of its Finance Committee.

Simon was formerly the Chief Executive of Manteena, an award-winning construction contractor with a track record of working on some of the most iconic projects in the nation's capital including Parliament House, and completing construction projects across Australia and internationally in 23 countries.

With more than 30 years' of experience in the industry, Simon is a highly esteemed figure in the ACT and 'Canberra Region' where he is a former President of Master Builders ACT .

Simon is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Building, Member of Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Project Management. In 2018 he was appointed an Adjunct Professor at the University of Canberra.
